Liturgical songs and melodies of the Lubavitcher Chassidim. Chassidic nigunim are a medium for expressing what words themselves cannot contain.
The Niggunim in this collection have been newly transcribed, transliterated, translated and annotated, enabling anyone with even a minimal knowledge of music to enjoy them.
The melody is written on a treble clef, and chords are named above the staff, suitable to be used for guitar accompaniment, or for piano.
126 nigunim, complete with index
[Musical notation on treble clef with chords noted above by only the title of the chord - the chord is not musically notated (with a circle-and-stick-and-flag musical notation for each note that is part of the chord) - for a guitar this is enough as the guitarist usually plays from this and not from complete chord musical notation, but for a pianist, this will only do for the one who knows how to create each chord him-or-herself without having each component note shown on a bass clef. The music can be used for other instruments, but for instruments of higher or lower pitch, the key of a nigun may need to be changed, depending on the range of notes which that instrument can play.]
